Fall Home Decor Ideas

I am finally ready to share with you my Fall Home Decor Tour. I always do seasonal decorating and most seasons I decorate my main floor only. At Christmas I decorate our bedroom and the hallway. But for Fall it is Main floor that gets a face lift.

I am obsessed with seasonal decorating and I think me being at home and working from home I crave the change of scenery. My husband not so much but he has gotten use to it.

I also love to decorate my front porch for the seasons so I am including that as well. If you don’t want to read about my home tour make sure you go to the bottom of the page where I am sharing my Home Tour on my Youtube channel so you can watch it there.

For my front porch this year I went with simple with lots of mums and fake pumpkins. The reason I chose fake pumpkins is because I am sharing my home tour fairly early in the season and I didn’t want the real ones to go bad on my porch. I wanted my porch to feel cozy and inviting.

As you can see love using lots of blankets and pillows for that cozy feeling. Love having a cup of coffee on the weekend morning or a glass of wine at the end of a night maybe wrapped up in the blanket for those cooler mornings and evenings.

I take that same cozy look and recreate it in my home starting in the front foyer.

I also love using scents be it candles, wax melts or essential oils for that punch of seasonal smell. I think it is so inviting when you walk in to a nice smelling home. I am not an overly big fan of very sweat smells but love combinations of crisp morning, pumpkin and apple smells.

Lots of my decor that you see in my home are my own DIYs which you can find on my DIY channel over on YouTube

One of my favourite rooms in my home is my formal living room. I love curling up on the couch with a good book whenever I have a chance.

For my formal dining room tablescape I used tons of different pumpkins and greenery and love the way the centre piece turned out.

Now moving on to the hear of the home where my family spend the most of their time in especially now with online school and working from home. My kitchen and my family room is where we all meet in the mornings, lunch time and evenings. I especially wanted to make these room feel cozy and festive for the season but also practical since they are used all the time.

I hope you enjoyed this little tour. Let me know which room you liked the best or piece of decor you liked the most.
