How I Sep Up My Zone Cleaning

download-5

For years I struggled to get the Spring cleaning done all at once.  I tried many different ways from taking a Friday off work so I could have more time to do it to delegating things to my husband to do just to end up with not completing it and being frustrated.  Until I came across people talking about zone cleaning.  I know that some people feel that with zone cleaning you never truly have a completely clean house all at once.  But let me tell you it works and my house is clean all the time with not very much effort.  I dedicate and hour a day on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  The reason for me doing it this way I do my weekly deep cleaning on Thursdays and Fridays.  I will do a separated blog post on how I do my deep cleaning and how I spread it out between the two days.  I like to keep my weekends for grocery shopping and hanging out with my family.  I give myself a few chores to do on the weekend but none of them take up too much of my time.

So let me show you how I set up my zone cleaning.

This is the list that works for me.  I usually do my zone cleaning during nap time when all the children are napping.  If it doesn’t work out for me at that time I will do some at night.  I give myself an hour to do it and sometimes I finish before and sometimes I have to do more the next day.  Once you get on the schedule you will see it is not that much work and when everything is straightened and cleaned on regular basis it really doesn’t take that long to do it.

Hope you will find this helpful.

Thanks for reading and Happy Cleaning
